Commencing with 4 Days and Nights in Victor Harbor and surrounds – accommodation at the McCracken Resort (please book direct see Day 1 link).

Last day of the National takes us to “The Bend Motorsport Park” – with the last night's accommodation at the Monarto Safari Resort (bookings via registration form).

Registration / Welcome Drinks & Dinner

3.00pm  Arrival and Registration at McCracken Resort Victor Harbor.

6.00pm  Welcome Drinks followed by Dinner in the Baudin and Encounter Rooms overlooking the golf course.

DAY 2: Saturday 1st May – Concours

After breakfast our Concours will take place on the waterfront lawns of Warland Reserve in the Victor Harbor Township allowing the public to wander and enjoy the collection of our Astons. Members can take advantage of the location as it is within a short walk to the Cockle Train, Horse Drawn Tram to Granite Island, The SA Whale Centre and local cafes all while their cars are being judged.  We expect the Concours to be completed by mid afternoon and you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure to explore.

Dinner will be in Salt at the Elliot Restaurant Port Elliot.  (at own cost à la carte)

DAY 3: Sunday 2nd May – Lake Breeze Wines

We will be exploring the Fleurieu Peninsula and Langhorne Creek areas incorporating an observation run finishing at Lake Breeze Wines. Taste their award-winning wines, experience their warm hospitality and savour a long lunch whilst taking in the stunning view across the vineyard.

We will finish the day with a casual meal TBA.

DAY 4: Monday 3rd May – “Our Place” @ Willunga Hill

Will be a casual start to the day with members being able to rest and take in local
activities before a very special afternoon. We will bus our way to Willunga Hill where we
will be treated to a private lunch at “Our Place”. Nothing too much can be said as we
would spoil the surprise. It’s just a little piece of Italy that we are sure you will remember
with fondness for a long time.

It is highly unlikely you will need dinner but if you do it will be a free night to explore the
McCracken Resort facilities or you may prefer to try some of the many options available
in the area.

DAY 5: Tuesday 4th May
The Bend Motorsport Park / Monarto Safari Resort

After checkout we make an early start to our speed event at “The Bend Motorsport Park” International Circuit. CIRCUIT MAP. There will be a Regularity Event, Motorkhana Competition, and General Track time available.

The Bend Motorsport Park is aptly named, boasting a complex of circuits which can host almost any form of wheeled activity. As well as one of the longest FIA Grade 2/ FIM Grade A-standard permanent circuits in the world.

There are many and varied other facilities associated with the complex for those who want a more relaxed day. It has a Restaurant overlooking the track which offers lunch and drinks in air-conditioned comfort where partners can watch on as drivers test their skills on the track.

MOTORSPORT EVENT

If you are participating, please ensure you fill out the Motorsport Event section on the Registration Form.

REQUIREMENTS for the day: (Extras to be paid separately)

1. A motorsport license (Speed) from Motorsport Australia. Day licenses, at a cost of $37.50 can be arranged for those that don’t already have one through The Bend booking portal. (The portal link will be emailed after registration.)
2. Helmets will be available for hire at $50.00 for the day. If required - will be invoiced by AMOC SA
3. You will need a transponder supplied by timing at a cost of $50.00. If required - will be invoiced by AMOC SA
4. A 1kg fire extinguisher is mandatory for this type of event.  (Available at Bunnings approx. $20.00 ) and will need to be secured.

11.30   7.7km GT Track Passenger spirited 3 laps (no helmets required)  The challenging 7.77km long GT Circuit is the second longest permanent race track in the world (second only to the Nordschleife, Nurburgring).
12.00 - 4.00  Open Pit Lane
Cars will be grouped according to their power to weight ratio. Up to 20 cars per group. Timing by a transponder in each car. This will help you set your time for the afternoon session. Free track access with up to 20 cars on the track at any one time.
12.00 – 4.00 Motorkhana Event using the skid pan for tests of driving skill. An enjoyable fun event.
12:00 – 2.00 Lunch at own cost available through The Bend Restaurant.

This evening we will take a walk on the wild side. Giving a nod to this special location, we will “Dress to Impress with a Touch of Animal” with the presentations for the Concours and Speed Event as well as saying goodbye to our friends who are not joining the Post Tour, so dig out those leopard prints, snake skin belts and crocodile shoes for a night to remember!

We start the day at the Monarto Safari Resort recovering from the previous night’s festivities. Breakfast can be in your rooms or in the Kutjera Restaurant overlooking the waterhole where the animals come to drink.

We farewell those who are not joining the Post Tour whilst the remainder will have a choice of the varied activities at the Monarto Safari Park or nearby venues (see PT Day 1). In house day spa and swimming pools are also available.

The Post Tour continues with another day and night at Monarto Sarfari Resort.

The next day offers numerous options (PT Day 1) before heading to our accommodation for 3 night's at the Reisen Hotel, Hahndorf.

Option 1.  Travel into Murray Bridge along a portion of the 777 Motor Museum Trail.  Browse the route on the map provided on their web site.  Plan your self-drive loop through SA’s motoring heritage to any or all 7 Motor Museums spread across the River Murray, Lakes and Coorong areas.

Today we head east through some of the most picturesque countryside on our way to
Golding Winery for a shared plate lunch. You can sample many of the Adelaide Hills wines whilst enjoying a private area covered by vines and surrounded by a lavish garden, a little slice of heaven.

Dinner will be your choice at one of the many Restaurants or Hotels in the main street of

PT DAY 4: Saturday 8th May – Free Day / Hahndorf 

Today is a free day, choose to sleep in and rest or explore the many and varied shops and wineries in the surrounding area of Hahndorf and Adelaide Hills area.

Our final dinner of the Post Tour is a short walk away from our hotel at the Hahndorf Inn.

PT DAY 5: Sunday 9th May – Beerenberg Farewell Breakfast / Departure

We venture to SA’s renowned Beerenberg Farm nearby where we will enjoy a farewell breakfast of local produce and say goodbye to our old and new friends. (at own cost)

You may want to pick a few strawberries for your journey home!
