Tuesday 16th June 2026 saw us meet at the Kent Town Hotel for an extraordinary meeting in order to accept and lodge the new constitution and slight name change to AMOC SA inc.
The motion was passed unanimously and as such we are now re-incorporated having been dormant for some time and we have an up to date constitution for the club to move forward for many years to come.
On a social note apart from the misunderstanding from the management of the Kent Town Hotel in relation to the room use and setup, the 29 members who attended rolled their sleeves up and got to work with the staff to set up a long table for dinner.
On the completion of our meal we had the pleasure to introduce Father and Son team Phillip and William Churchill whom you may have read in the spring edition of AM Quarterly are living a dream travelling the world in their Aston Martin Vantage.
It was an interesting and informative evening which engaged the members with a question and answer presentation of their travels.
Some of the attendees ventured downstairs to the carpark after the presentation to view Phillip and Will’s Vantage which was sporting all the stickers from their sponsors and journey.
